What to wear?
Clothing makes a big impact—choose pieces that look polished and feel like you. Avoid anything worn out, stretched, or overly thin, as these details can show up more than you'd think on camera.
Bring outfits that you feel confident in and reflect how you want to be represented, whether you're a business professional that wants to look put together and friendly, or an actor wanting to impersonate different casting types. May be best to avoid clothing like hoodies as they tend to not always show up well, however if its a look you want, we can definitely do one outfit with!

Simple is best. Bring clothing with mix of textures, necklines, and colour's. Layers add depth, and variety gives us more to work with. Think about how each outfit reflects a version of you—professional, creative, approachable, etc.
A bit of research goes a long way: look at others in your industry and genres to see what works well.
Colour Guide
Deep tones like navy, green, maroon = flattering
Bright red/yellow = overpowering and loud
Pastels = soft and youthful
Neutrals/earth tones = always reliable
Black/white = great staple/layer, just don’t bring only black & white
BRING LIP BALM!
Chapped lips can be surprisingly noticeable in high-resolution images. Applying a simple lip balm before and during the session helps keep your look polished and fresh — a small detail that makes a big impact.
Hair
Let’s talk hair—it plays a huge role in your headshots.
Avoid any major changes right before your session. A fresh cut or color might need a few days to settle, so give yourself a little buffer in case it doesn’t go exactly as planned.
For longer hairstyles, a bit of volume and shape goes a long way—especially if we're working mostly with head and shoulders. Think about how you usually part your hair, and feel free to switch it up for variety.
Consider whether a simple hair-up look might suit you too, and plan when you'll wash your hair—too fresh can be flat, too long can be oily.
You're welcome to switch up your style (curling or straightening) mid- way but it will eat into allotted time!
Shaving tip: clean-shaven or stubbled is totally your call—just choose what feels most like you. Always welcome to shave during the shoot but it will eat into allotted time!
Make-Up
Keep your look true to you — that's always enough. Aim for something natural and familiar, like what you'd wear to an audition, meeting, or a day where you want to feel your best. A light base, soft eyes, and a touch of gloss is usually perfect.
However, if you're hoping to include some stronger looks—like a bold red lip or shots suited for dancer or musical theatre roles—just let me know at the start of the session and we can plan to capture those towards the end.
Please arrive with your makeup already done, as there's not much time for full applications, though you're welcome to do small touch-ups as we go.
Fake tan? Best avoided unless it's part of your usual look and you're confident applying it — the camera catches everything, and patchy or uneven tones can be tricky to fix later.
Bold false lashes can sometimes hide the eyes, so something softer and more natural usually photographs better.
Above all, keep it close to you, be yourself — that's always the best choice.
BRING THE VISION
(This is more so for actors/performer shots than corporate shots)
Before shoot day, have a think about the types of characters or roles you want your headshots to speak to. We’ll definitely get that clean, natural “you” shot — but bringing in a few defined looks can really help you stand out.
Are you the charming lead, the sharp-witted mate, the romantic lead, the boss, the period piece staple, or the contemporary villain? Bring a bit of that energy with you!
And if you’ve got an agent, chat with them beforehand to make sure you’re on the same page. (No stress if you don’t — loads of actors are self-representing, and we’ve got this.)
Got previous headshots? Bring them along! Think about what worked, what didn’t, and what you want to do differently this time.
Also — if there are any headshots you love (from me or other photographers), feel free to show me! The more visual references you bring, the better we can shape the session around you.

20 minute walk from farnborough main train station
Free parking is also available on site (Theres even a starbucks!)

Once a booking has been made, cancellation is not possible, however the session can be rescheduled.

when will i receive my gallery?
Your gallery will be sent within 48hrs which will allow you to browse our shoot and pick your favourites!

Final Photo Selection?
Once you have put your chosen final photos into the designated folder, you will have the retouched photos within 7-14 business days unless otherwise stated.
Can I buy Extra retouches
Of course! Each extra retouch is £20. After your session you will receive your photo gallery you will see a store symbol which will lead you to choosing an extra retouch or more!
I will get retouches back to you within 7-14 business days unless otherwise stated.
How long will my gallery be available?
You have 6 months to choose your photos/go back to the gallery further down the line to purchase more.
